60 years ago, Mr. Vasudeo Shivram Kolhatkar, while working on natural herbs in his own laboratory, discovered an emulsion which he found was very useful for various diseases. Inspired by this, he formed a company named Ayurved Sumshodhanalaya (ASUM) meaning the place where the studies on Ayurveda are carried out. On this basis Mr. S.V. Kolhatkar, present director of our company, built up a strong organization with the goal of bringing the highest quality products to market, in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
